In response to the military aggression of Armenia, Azerbaijani people rose to the Patriotic War to liberate our land from the enemy on September 27, 2020, and as a result of 44 days of military operations, they won a victory and restored the territorial integrity of our country. On December 2, 2020, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the solemn celebration of Victory Day in Azerbaijan on November 8 every year in order to perpetuate the victory in the Patriotic War.
