“Neftçi” was signed new contract with captain Emin Mahmudov. 2+1-year contract was signed with 31-year old player.

Contract of the midfielder expired at the end of the 2022/23 season who was transferred to “Neftçi” in September 2017. During the remaining 6 seasons, Mahmudov played 191 matches and scored 50 goals, became champion of Azerbaijan in the 2020/21 season.

It should be noted that “Neftçi” previously extended the contract with goalkeeper Ivan Brkic, transferred players of our national team - goalkeeper Emil Balayev and Croatian born midfielder Filip Ozobic.
