A press conference was organized with the participation of our team's head coach Laurențiu Reghecampf and Nigerian player Yusuf Lawal before UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round match between "Neftçi" - "Rapid" which will be held at "Allianz" stadium on August 1 at 22:30 Baku time.

Firstly, head coach expressed his opinions: "We won the first match. We came here for victory. We know that a difficult match awaits us. Because "Rapid" is a very strong opponent. I am sure that they will prepare better and more seriously than in the first match because they are playing at home. However, we are ready and we did not come here to maintain the score in Baku. Although we respect the opponent, we came here to show good performance and win".

Then Yusuf Lawal stated: "Difficult match awaits us against difficult opponent, but we will do everyting to qualify next round".

Afterwards, Laurențiu Reghecampf answered the questions: "We trust each other. We have enough strength and experienced players to leave pitch victorious. In tomorrow's match, we are not preparing to save the result, but to win. We have to fight, we have to be active. This is a message to my players. We know what Rapid is capable of. They have very good players in the offensive area that we must be careful of, we must not give them too much time to think. Even if we concede a goal first, we have to fight and score a goal in return. We didn't have much time because we had the league match last weekend. After that match, we tried to recover and motivate our players for tomorrow's match. We analyzed the mistakes we made in the last 10-15 minutes. We will try not to repeat the mistakes. If we give Rapid time to think, it can cause us problems. We have worked on it. I hope that our team will be at a very good level physically. Of course, the opponent also analyzes our game. It's like a chess. Every coach has his own playing style, that's normal. But in the end we depend on the players. Because they fight on the field.
