Neftchi goalkeeper Agil Mammadov underwent knee surgery. The team's chief doctor Shaig Zohrabli told the club's official website that the operation was successful:

"Agil was treated in November after being injured. However, he underwent surgery in Baku in December due to pain and swelling. However, after the operation, he was sent to Turkey - "Acibadem" clinic, as the pain in the knee joint did not completely disappear and the swelling continued. There, Professor Dr. Sinan Karaoğlu, Dr. Bertan Cengiz and Dr. Mehmet Çavuş performed the operation repeatedly on the knee joint, the wound area was processed. It is already the second day after the operation and he is in good condition and treatment is underway. It is planned that Agil will start individual actions in about two months.
